1. General installation rules
Working with cast iron pipes
All Düker cast iron sewage pipes and fittings, even the enameled MLetec®,
can be cut with an abrasive wheel cutter or a roll disc cutter. Watch out
for a right angle to the longitudinal axis and remove possible burrs.
The maximum cut-off for fittings is to be taken from the delivery program.
The cutting edges on MLetec® and MLK are to be treated with the
one-component cutting edge protection delivered, for additional corrosion
protection against the expected aggressive waste water.
